We are pleased to announce the launch of our new visitor’s passport program, available now through April 2024! This is a great opportunity for both visitors and locals to experience some of the region’s best wineries. Each tasting pass includes access to 18 different wineries with no additional tasting fees for the time period you’ve purchased. Just select the duration of your pass, and during that period, you’ll have the key to great wine tasting.
“The SLO Coast Wine Tasting Pass makes it a little easier for everyone to get out to visit the local wineries” says Mike Sinor, President of the SLO Coast Wine Collective. “We’re hoping to inspire local residents as well as visitors to come out and experience the diversity of the wineries in our community. Whether they’re visiting their favorite producers or experimenting with new wineries, the passes are a great way to welcome everyone to the wineries within this very special region on the Central Coast.”
The passes are available in three different increments:

The participating wineries include Baileyana Winery, Biddle Ranch Vineyard, Center of Effort Winery, Chamisal Vineyards, Claiborne & Churchill Winery, Croma Vera Wines, Cutruzzola Vineyards, Filipponi Ranch Winery, Kynsi Winery, Peloton Cellars, Saucelito Canyon Vineyard, Sinor-LaVallee Winery, Stephen Ross Wine Cellars, Stolo Vineyards, Talley Vineyards, Timbre Winery, Tolosa Winery, and Verdad & Lindquist Family Wines.
Paula Dooley of Stephen Ross Wine Cellars says she’s looking forward to the program. “Each of the wineries will be pouring their regular tasting flights for passport visitors, and many of us are including special offers and discounts. The wineries are spread out along the central coast from Cambria down to Arroyo Grande; some of the tasting rooms are set in the middle of vineyards while others (like ours) are inside the SLO city limits, but either way, it’s a fantastic chance to spend time in the SLO Coast wine world, and at a discounted price.”
The SLO Coast produces cool-climate wines influenced by soil, shaped by wind, cooled by fog, and kissed by the sun. The vineyards enjoy soft morning coastal fog and midday sun, creating exuberant wines that are complex and balanced. Our vineyards are an average of only five miles from the Pacific Ocean. Although best-known for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, our winemakers work with over 30 grape varieties grown in this boutique region.
The SLO Coast is a region founded by families, visionaries, and craftsmen. Our inclusive culture inspires bootstrapping career changes, and we enjoy drinking and sharing the wines we make. Our winemakers are not afraid to experiment and take risks, and they are proud to produce hand crafted wines for you to enjoy.
